Westcott is a contemporised version of iconic vintage cropped tweed jackets. It’s collarless with an inverted pocket flap design.
Cream forms the base shade, forming repeated oval motifs in Westcott’s chain-like pattern. Each link in the chain is coloured in plum, with the shading in-between in a deep tone of green.
We spin our wool in Scotland. Westcott is then stitched in Portugal at a specialist weave workshop.
Boxy and cropped, Westcott is certainly not a jacket that will cling to your figure. It falls just above the hip and the arms are full length.
Wool is the primary yarn in this tweed cloth. We’ve treated it so that it’s soft, but not so much that it removes wool’s natural character and texture. Expect warmth and a slightly coarse texture, but our silken lining means its smooth on wearing. The perimeter is edged in braided cord, as are the pocket flaps.
IWestcott’s composition is 70% wool, 22% viscose and 8% Polyamide.
Dry clean only.
